The Velveteen Lounge Kitsch-en is a joint creation of Kelly Camille Patterson and Paul Spencer. Actor/writer Kelly has appeared on TV's One Life to Live, in a national tour of The Wizard of Oz and in many New York City plays. She has written articles for Bachelor Pad Magazine, Rocker Magazine and Ohana Magazine. When Paul isn't toiling in the corporate world he can be found making videos, building things and playing records from his vast collection, a portion of which he uses in performance as one half of Dr. Benstock, an improvisational turntable duo that creates new sounds and rhythms from dusty old grooves. Together they appeared, along with the Velveteen Lounge, in the film Tikimentary and their short film The Castaways Meet the Blob was chosen as the Fan Favorite at the 2009 BlobFest in Phoenixville, PA.
