Thanksgiving Tippler cocktail from "Velveteen Lounge Kitsch-en: Thanksgiving Tips For Dealing With The Dull"

Thanksgiving Tippler

1 oz dark rum
1 oz Kraken spiced rum
1/2 oz dry curacao
3/4 oz pomegranate juice
1/2 oz fresh lime juice

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Your relatives will become more interesting with each round!

 

 

 

 

Mini Mayflowers from "Velveteen Lounge Kitsch-en: Thanksgiving Tips For Dealing With The Dull"

Mini Mayflowers

1 pound of ground chicken (or your favorite ground meat substitute)
1 cup crushed, drained pineapple
¼ cup breadcrumbs
1½ tsp ground garlic
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp onion
1 TBSP soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Cayenne pepper if you’d like some pep

Combine all ingredients and form into ship shapes. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until slightly browned and cooked through. Cut sails out of scrapbook paper and slide onto masts made from small bamboo skewers. Heavenly and historic!
