Tangerine Touchdown

1½ oz vodka
½ oz Ancho Reyes Verde liqueur
New Belgium Citradelic Tangerine IPA, chilled

Combine all ingredients in a double old fashioned glass and stir gently.

Tiny Shepherd's Pies

2 rolled pie crusts
½ lb ground turkey, beef or meat substitute
½ cup beer
1 TBSP tomato paste
¼ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
Whole black pepper
½ cup cooked mixed vegetables
1 cup cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
½ TBSP butter
Salt and pepper
Chopped green onions

Cut pie crusts into rounds (I used a small cocktail glass as a guide), form in mini muffin pans and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until browned. Brown ground turkey, beef or meat substitute. Add beer, tomato paste, garlic powder, salt and a few grinds of black pepper. Simmer until liquid is mostly absorbed and stir in mixed vegetables. Combine sweet potatoes with butter, salt and pepper. Add a spoonful of meat mixture into pie crusts, top with a spoonful of sweet potato mixture and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
