Ginger Rose

1½ oz gin
½ oz clover honey simple syrup
½ oz fresh blueberry juice
¼ oz cold pressed ginger
2 oz water
2 leaves Thai basil
Lime wheel

 

Place 3 blueberries and lime wheel in a champagne flute and add gin. Place honey simple syrup, blueberry juice, ginger and water in a siphon, charge and squirt into the flute. Slap Thai basil & add to glass.

Unnamed Bonus Cocktail!

1½ oz bourbon
½ oz applewood smoked maple syrup infused with a little cinnamon
½ oz apple cider vinegar


Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass
Garnish with a bourbon soaked cherry speared with a small sprig of rosemary.

Tipsy Meatballs and Boozy Pumpkin Sauce from A Visit To Prohibition Distillery! Velveteen Lounge Kitsch-en episode

Tipsy Meatballs & Boozy Pumpkin Sauce

Meatballs:
½ lb ground turkey
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 TBSP gin
½ tsp garlic
½ tsp dried sage
¼ tsp salt
A few grinds of cracked pepper
1 egg

Combine all ingredients and roll into balls about one inch in diameter. Bake at 375° for 20 – 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Sauce:

1 cup pumpkin
2 TBSP vodka
¼ cup heavy cream
¼ cup milk
1 – 2 cloves minced garlic
½ tsp chopped fresh rosemary
Salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer for at least five minutes. The longer it sits, the better it gets!
