How to Make Limoncello Plus Recipes for a Limoncello Cocktail and Dip!
6 large lemons
1 liter vodka
1 liter water
4 cups sugar
Wash and remove the skins from lemons. Combine with vodka and allow to rest for one week. After the week is over, combine water and sugar and heat on the stove just long enough to melt the sugar - don’t let it boil! When it’s cooled, add to your lemon mixture and allow it to sit for another week. Strain out the lemon skins and you have limoncello!
2 oz reposado tequila
½ oz lemoncello
¼ oz Cynar
Combine all ingredients, shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass!
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ tsp salt
2 tsp limoncello
1 TBSP finely chopped jalapeno pepper
Combine all ingredients and refrigerate for at least one hour.
